Adjusting X TV PP App (Perfect Player)
X TV allows you to adjust settings to your liking so you can navigate through the guide with ease. We’ll go over a few different ways to adjust settings and explain their functions.
After you have purchased your membership of X TV from My DingTV you will receive a separate email with your X TV login credentials. Your username and password are case-sensitive so make sure you have entered it in correctly!
For example, the lower case l (L) and upper case I (i), along with 0 (zero) and uppercase O look a lot alike! Once correctly entered you will see a notification in the top right corner saying Playlist Update Started. If a 0 appears then you entered in the wrong username or password. After the playlist is loaded you will see the guide load up.

The following steps are required if you have just recently downloaded the X TV PP app on your android device.
Complete the following steps to adjust X TV PP App settings.
After opening up X TV PP, pull up your main menu by pressing the 3 or 4 horizontal lines on your remote, this is your menu button.
Then select on the settings widget on the far right.
Scroll down to GUI, turn off Autostart at bootup and turn on Show channels grouped as folders.
Back out to the previous screen then select on Playback. Turn off Change volume by left/right keys (you can also change your decoder in here, see below for more info).
Now back completely out of settings to your guide or previous channel.
These changes will allow you to pick your categories by pressing on the left keypad when the guide is up. When the guide isn’t visible the left keypad will send you to the previous channel you were watching and the right keypad will give you a description of what’s playing. The pictures below shows what the tv guide looks like along with the categories listed.
NOTE: If you are experiencing video and or audio not syncing or playing one but not the other on many channels in 24/7 sections then you will need to change the Decoder found in Playback settings to Native.

Web Player
Another great helpful tool for viewing and testing X TV is with using the WebPlayer. If your using the WebPlayer for testing purposes then we recommend to use your phone while hooked up to it’s cell data, not WiFi, which will help diagnose your symptoms best. The Web Player can be used from any browser and is great for testing to see if the issues your having is with your streaming device, apps, internet connection, or the account itself. You can access the TV Web Player from the link below.
